This AirDog system features their traditional nonadjustable/high flow return base but integrates the 4G motor they have been utilizing for years with great success. By maintaining this base design, it enables AirDog to offer a budget-friendly system, with a very proven and reliable motor design.

AirDog has engineered this system to remove water, particulates, vapor, and entrained air from diesel fuel. This lift pump and filter system is what your vehicle needs to deliver clean fuel to your engine.

The AirDog operates by pulling fuel from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of moisture. Water and big particle contaminants are removed from the fuel when it travels through the water separator. The fuel then reaches the fuel pump with just the entrained air/vapor and minute contaminants still present. The residual particle contaminants are captured and trapped while the fuel flows through the fuel filter under positive pressure. The entrained air and vapor are also separated and returned to the tank. The clean fuel is then delivered to your engine at the correct pressures. Each kit comes with all the needed plumbing, hardware, wiring, mounting bracket, and other components needed for installation.

When you upgrade the components and the performance of your diesel engine, it demands improved fuel flow. Higher fuel flows increase the vacuum at the fuel pump and agitation in the fuel tank. This results in additional air/vapor in the fuel system and prevents your engine from performing at its absolute best. In addition, air and vapor can cause galling and pitting of the injector barrel/plunger assembly and also tip erosion. The AirDog removes air in the fuel that could cause permanent damage to your injectors and prevents your engine from performing at the level it should.
